From Split Port - 40 minutes away
You can catch a ferry (Jadrolinija Line) to visit many nearby islands, such as Brac or Hvar; or, if you wish you could spend many hours in the old town and Roman Palace in Split.

The Krka National Park - 40 minutes away (www.npkrka.hr) is a must. One could easily spend a day wandering around the stunning walks or picnic by a waterfall. |
For lovers of history there are extensive Roman excavations just outside Split at Salona including a small amphitheatre and aqueduct.
The scenic coastal highway makes access to the numerous bays, marinas etc. on the Dalmatian coastline very easy whether you have a car or use local bus services.
In the high season there are boat trips from Rogoznica and Primosten to the Kornati Archipelago National Park - http://www.kornati.hr.

Zadar
Another town with a pleasant mediaeval centre and long promenade. Approximately 80 minutes drive north from Rogoznica.
Paklenica National Park
A national park which contains spectacular gorges, mountains and caves. Approximately 90 minutes drive north from Rogoznica.
Kupres – Bosnia
This winter ski-resort is well worth a visit in other seasons as a change from the coast. Approximately 3 hours drive from Rogoznica
